 Welcome to the Manatee Suite of AMI Beach Lagoon

The Manatee Suite is a spacious ground-floor 3-bedroom apartment in the rear house of the AMI Beach Lagoon property, located directly on the shoreline of Vista Lake and only a few steps from the white sandy beach on North Shore Drive. It offers a bright, uncluttered interior with vaulted ceilings, modern furnishings, and original island photography by the owner.

Guests enjoy a private entrance, a fully equipped kitchen, indoor dining and living areas with Roku streaming and HD over-the-air television, as well as a private washer and dryer. The bedrooms include a king bed in the master suite, a queen bed in the lakeside bedroom, and two full beds in the corner bedroom. Bathrooms include one walk-in shower and one tub/shower combination, ideal for families with children.

A private covered terrace under a pergola extends the living space outdoors and provides a peaceful place for dining, reading, or enjoying the lake view. The pergola terrace faces Vista Lake and is separate from the pool area. The master bedroom features a glass door that leads directly onto the shared pool deck, providing instant access to the heated saltwater pool and spa.

Outdoor Amenities

The resort-like outdoor area includes:

• Large Mickey Mouse-shaped heated saltwater pool
• Spa with daily heating hours (1 PM–10 PM) and 20–40 minute heat-up time
• Private dock on Vista Lake with complimentary kayaks
• Putting green and giant chess board
• Multiple outdoor seating areas and shaded spaces
• Beach carts and beach equipment

Each suite has its own dedicated outdoor grill located next to its private terrace or patio.

The pool is typically maintained at approximately 80°F during cooler months. Spa heating is provided as a complimentary amenity but cannot be guaranteed during extreme cold or in case of equipment malfunction.

Property Layout and Suites

AMI Beach Lagoon consists of three independent ground-level suites that can be rented together or separately:

• Turtle Suite – 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom (front house facing North Shore Drive)
• Manatee Suite – 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (rear house facing Vista Lake)
• Pelican Suite – 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (rear house facing Vista Lake)

Each suite includes its own private outdoor area: the Manatee and Pelican Suites feature covered pergola terraces facing Vista Lake; the Turtle Suite has a covered patio area near its entrance. All suites include private grills and seating. Guests share the pool, spa, dock, kayaks, putting green, and outdoor recreational areas.

Comfort & Climate

All suites at AMI Beach Lagoon are equipped with modern, quiet, and efficient air conditioning systems controlled by smart thermostats. These systems maintain a stable indoor climate year-round. To ensure reliable operation, thermostat settings follow manufacturer and technician recommendations: cooling not below 70°F in summer and heating up to 74°F in winter.

Housekeeping, Safety & Policies

Our suites are maintained to high standards and include Wi-Fi, dishwashers, full-size washers and dryers, and regular professional pest control. Due to Florida’s subtropical climate, occasional insects or small lizards may appear despite preventive measures; this does not constitute grounds for compensation.

For health-related reasons within the owner’s family, pets (including service or emotional support animals) are not permitted anywhere on the property under any circumstances. Any animal found on the premises will result in immediate eviction, forfeiture of payments, and liability for specialized cleaning.

The parking area, pool equipment zone, pool deck, kayak rack and lakeside area are monitored by outdoor cameras with motion-activated recording. There are no cameras inside the buildings.

Renovation & Upgrades

The entire property was fully renovated in 2021, with additional upgrades including environmentally friendly solar roofs installed in 2022 and 2024.

AMI Beach Lagoon is one of the few remaining ground-floor luxury accommodations in the highly desirable North Shore Drive area at the northern tip of Anna Maria Island.

Cancellation Policy: No refund will be issued for any reason.

Rates vary by season, length of stay, and availability. Taxes and cleaning fees are additional. A refundable security deposit is required and is placed as a credit card hold prior to arrival. Pool and spa heating are included as complimentary amenities; operation may vary during very cold weather and does not qualify for refunds or compensation. Minimum stay requirements apply during peak seasons and holidays. Reservations are confirmed only after receipt of the required initial payment. No pets and no smoking are permitted anywhere on the property.
