Welcome to the Manatee Suite at AMI Beach Lagoon
The Manatee Suite is a private ground-floor 1-bedroom, 2-bath suite within AMI Beach Lagoon, a rare lakefront property where Gulf beach access and private waterfront living meet in a quiet residential setting at the northern end of Anna Maria Island.
Located on a spacious 12,500 sq ft lot at 604 North Shore Drive, near Bean Point, the Gulf beach is located just a short walk across North Shore Drive, while Vista Lake and a private dock extend behind the property. The setting reflects the original character of Anna Maria — relaxed, low-rise, and residential — intentionally preserved without high-density construction or resort towers.
When reserving the Manatee Suite individually, the Turtle and Pelican Suites may also be occupied by other registered guests. Outdoor areas are shared in a calm resort-style setting.
The Resort Layout
The Resort includes three distinct ground-floor suites:
Turtle Suite – 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom (Sleeps 2)
Manatee Suite – 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (Sleeps 6)
Pelican Suite – 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (Sleeps 6)
The Turtle Suite is located in the front building facing North Shore Drive. The Manatee and Pelican Suites are situated in the rear building overlooking Vista Lake. Each suite has its own private entrance and a fully equipped kitchen. The Manatee and Pelican Suites feature private covered pergola terraces facing Vista Lake with outdoor seating and a dedicated grill.
In this 1-bedroom rental configuration, only the master bedroom is accessible. The remaining bedrooms of the full 3-bedroom suite remain locked and are not rented to other guests. You will have the entire unit completely to yourself; all outdoor areas and shared amenities (pool, spa, dock, kayaks, putting green, seating areas etc.) remain available for use by guests of the other suites as well.
Outdoor Living
The outdoor areas define the resort experience. A large Mickey Mouse-shaped heated saltwater pool with attached spa is surrounded by multiple seating and dining areas designed for relaxed gatherings. The private dock on Vista Lake invites quiet mornings, fishing at sunset, or exploring the water by kayak. A putting green and outdoor chess set add a subtle recreational element while preserving the calm atmosphere of the property.
Pool & Spa Heating: Pool and spa operate on a shared heating system. Heating performance is weather dependent and subject to environmental and technical limitations. The pool and spa cannot be heated simultaneously, and heating performance may vary.
Outdoor showers provide a convenient transition after returning from the beach.
Comfort & Infrastructure
The Manatee Suite is ground level with wide doors and low-threshold showers. Each suite includes high-speed WiFi, a private dishwasher, and a full-sized washer and dryer. Internet service is provided via a Frontier fiber connection with WiFi coverage throughout the resort.
The property was comprehensively renovated in 2021, with additional system upgrades and solar roofing added in 2022. Following the 2024 storm season, exterior landscaping and select technical components were renewed and upgraded. Due to extensive preventive measures installed in advance, no interior water intrusion occurred. Today, the property combines its original low-rise island character with updated infrastructure and modern building systems.
Florida’s subtropical climate can be warm and humid, particularly in summer. All air conditioning systems are professionally maintained and operate within regulated performance ranges to provide reliable indoor comfort.
Neighborhood & Property Policies
The property is located in a residential neighborhood. Guests are asked to maintain a respectful noise level, especially in outdoor areas. Pool and spa equipment automatically shut off during nighttime hours in accordance with local regulations.
No pets / no animals: Due to documented health considerations within the Owner’s family, pets — including service or emotional support animals — are not permitted on this private property under any circumstances. Any animal found on the premises will result in expedited eviction, forfeiture of payments, and liability for specialized cleaning and any resulting damages.
Exterior video surveillance with motion-activated recording is installed in the driveway, pool equipment zones, pool deck, kayak rack and lakefront areas. No cameras are installed inside any building.

We purchased and carefully renovated the resort to create a relaxed yet refined island retreat where families and friends can enjoy both beach and lake living in one unique setting.Location
